Text resizing guide

How to adjust the text size in your browser.

Below are instructions on how to change the text size in the most popular browsers.  Please follow the instructions for the browser you are using.

 Microsoft Internet Explorer
  • Select View from the menu at the top of your browser window
  • From the dropdown menu that appears select Text Size.
  • A side menu will open with options which allow you to change the size of the text.
Netscape Navigator
  • Text size is altered via keyboard shortcuts
  • Press Ctrl and + to increase the size
  • Press Ctrl and - to decrease the size
  • Press Ctrl and 0 to go back to default size
  • Press F1 to view the page in full screen
Firefox (Mozilla)
  • Select View from the menu at the top of your browser window
  • From the dropdown menu that appears select Text Size
  • A side menu will open with options of increase, decrease and Normal
  • Firefox also allows the text size to be altered via keyboard shortcuts
  • Press Ctrl and + to increase the size
  • Press Ctrl and - to decrease the size
  • Press Ctrl and 0 to go back to default size
Google Chrome
  • Text size is altered via keyboard shortcuts
  • Press Ctrl and + to increase the size
  • Press Ctrl and - to decrease the size
  • Press Ctrl and 0 to go back to default size
Opera
  • Text size is altered via keyboard shortcuts
  • Press Ctrl and + to increase the size
  • Press Ctrl and - to decrease the size
  • Press Ctrl and 0 to go back to default size
