The West of England Partnership's vision to improve transport across the region

Jam Busting in September

Car drivers are being urged to put the brakes on their journeys in September and discover cleaner and greener modes of transport.

The Jam Busting commuter challenge runs throughout September and is aimed at drivers who commute alone and clog up the areas roads.

Commuters will be entered into a prize draw for every three days they find an alternative mode of transport, whether cycling, walking, car sharing, motorcycling, using public transport or working from home.

The Jam Busting scheme is organised by Bath and North East Somerset, Bristol City, North Somerset, and South Gloucestershire councils.
